Rebuilding the Atlas booking flow
A calmer, faster booking experience for a travel platform serving two million trips a year.
- Role
- Lead Product Designer

Overview
Booking had grown one feature at a time until the flow ran to nine screens and most people gave up halfway. I mapped where they dropped off, then rebuilt the journey around three clear decisions — when, where, and who's coming — moving everything else into sensible defaults people could change later. We tested four rounds of prototypes with real travellers before writing production code, which caught two assumptions that would have been expensive to unpick after launch.
Outcome
Completed bookings rose 31% in the first quarter, and support tickets about the booking step dropped by roughly half.
Design Systems
A design system for Fernhill's care team tools
A shared component library that cut new-screen build time roughly in half across three internal product teams.
- Role
- Design Systems Lead

Overview
Three internal teams were each rebuilding the same buttons, tables, and forms slightly differently, and every small inconsistency turned into a support ticket. I audited existing screens, consolidated the patterns that actually differed for a reason, and shipped a documented Figma and code library the teams could adopt incrementally. Rollout leaned on office hours and a migration checklist rather than a hard cutover, so teams could move at their own pace without blocking shipped work.
Outcome
New screens went from days to build to hours, and cross-team design reviews dropped from weekly to monthly.
Product Design
Onboarding redesign for a health AI assistant
A guided first-run experience that helped new users understand what the assistant could actually do for them.

Overview
Most people opened the app once, typed a vague question, got an unhelpful answer, and never came back. I designed a short onboarding flow that asked three questions up front and used the answers to show a first real, useful result instead of a blank chat box. We validated the flow with unmoderated tests before build, catching a confusing step around data permissions that we simplified before it ever shipped.
Outcome
Seven-day retention for new users nearly doubled, and the number of people who never sent a second message dropped by a third.
Experience
Lead designer on the patient-facing care platform, from research through shipped UI, working closely with engineering and clinical teams.
